Mr.
Thomas Bott is the owner of Thomas
E. Bott and Associates Inc., a private
medical case management and rehabilitation
counseling company that provides
rehabilitation services to injured
and disabled individuals. Mr. Bott
holds a bachelor’s degree
in psychology and a master’s
of science degree in rehabilitation
counseling, both from the University
of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. In addition,
he is currently working toward a
Ph.D. in health psychology through
Capella University, an accredited
institution based in Minneapolis,
MN. As well, Mr. Bott is a board
Certified Rehabilitation Counselor,
a board Certified Case Manager and
a board certified Medicare Set-Aside
Consultant. Mr. Bott is licensed
to practice rehabilitation counseling
in the State of Louisiana.
Mr. Bott has nearly 25 years
of experience in private rehabilitation
counseling practice. He has steadily
worked in the field of rehabilitation
counseling since 1975. He entered
private rehabilitation counseling
in 1981 and in 1988; he founded
Thomas E. Bott and Associates Inc.
Prior to entering his own practice,
from 1983 to 1988, Mr. Bott was
employed by a nationwide risk management
and rehabilitation company achieving
the position of branch manager.
While in that position, he acquired
substantial supervisory and business
management training and experience
that has helped him with the operations
of his present-day company. Presently,
Mr. Bott oversees the operations
of five professional counselors,
two job developers, two marketing
staff and a secretary-receptionist.
Mr.
Bott has a proven track record
providing high quality rehabilitation
counseling services to disabled
persons as well as serving as a
consultant and expert witness in
cases undergoing litigation. He
has extensive experience working
with both plaintiff and defense
in worker’s compensation matters
and in personal injury matters.
He has also had extensive experience
as a vocational expert witness in
Social Security Disability proceedings.
Mr. Bott is a member of the International
Association of Rehabilitation Professionals and the Louisiana
Association of Rehabilitation Professionals. |
