  Thomas E. Bott MS CRC CCM MSCC LRC   email
Mr. Bott holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s of science degree in rehabilitation counseling, both from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. In addition, he is currently working toward a Ph.D. in health psychology through Capella University, an accredited institution based in Minneapolis, MN. As well, Mr. Bott is a board Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a board Certified Case Manager and a board certified Medicare Set-Aside Consultant. Mr. Bott is licensed to practice rehabilitation counseling in the State of Louisiana.

Mr. Bott has a proven track record providing high quality rehabilitation counseling services to disabled persons as well as serving as a consultant and expert witness in cases undergoing litigation. He has extensive experience working with both plaintiff and defense in worker’s compensation matters and in personal injury matters. He has also had extensive experience as a vocational expert witness in Social Security Disability proceedings.
 
       
 
 
 

Stony Drake Landry MS, LRC, CRC, MSCC     email
Stony Landry earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the
University of Southwestern Louisiana and a Master’s of Science Degree in
Rehabilitation Counselor Education from the University of Louisiana at
Lafayette.

He is a fully licensed and certified Rehabilitation Counselor in Louisiana
and has been employed with Thomas E. Bott & Associates for eight years as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. Stony provides vocational
rehabilitation case services to various private insurance companies in the
worker's compensation arena in all regions of the state of Louisiana. He has provided expert testimony before the Worker¹s Compensation Court, Third Circuit, State of Louisiana. Currently, he also provides guidance and supervision to two rehabilitation counselors.

Stony is a Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor Supervisor, a member of the
International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) and the state affiliate, Louisiana Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (LARP). Stony currently serves the LARP Board as Regional Representative for the Lafayette, LA area. Stony is also a Certified Medicare Set-Aside Consultant.


 
  Brienne B. Frey MHS, CRC, LRC    email
Brienne Frey earned her Bachelor of General Studies degree with a concentration in pre-counseling in 2002 from the University of New Orleans, as well as, a Master’s of Health Sciences degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2004 from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, School of Allied Health Professions.

She is a fully licensed and certified Rehabilitation Counselor in the state of Louisiana. She has been employed with Thomas E. Bott & Associates since May of 2004 as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. Brienne provides medical case management and vocational rehabilitation services to disabled persons who have been injured on the job or have otherwise sustained physical or mental disabilities.

Brienne is a member of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) and the state affiliate, Louisiana Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (LARP).


Brienne currently serves the LARP Board od Directors as Member-at-Large.
  Jeanne Duplechain Tarver MS, LRC, CRC    email
Ms. Tarver earned a bachelor of science degree for the University of Southwestern Louisiana and a master's of science degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Louisiana- Lafayette.  Ms Tarver has been employed with Thomas E Bott & Associates for approximately 5 years and provides medical case management and vocational rehabilitation case management services for injured workers throughout Louisiana. 

In January 2006, Ms. Tarver attended the MediPro Seminar program by The University of Florida where she successfully completed the Medicare Set-Aside Allocation program. Ms. Tarver holds an additional credential of Medicare Set-Aside Consultant-Certifed which allows her to perform Medicare Set Aside Allocations.
 
  Karen Zito is our office manager/marketing person. She is the first employee hired and has been with us for more than 13 years. However, she has had more than 13 years of work experience in the claims office of a large insurance company. She has a very thorough knowledge of claims handling but also completely and expertly understands the process of vocational rehabilitation and case management.  This places her in a unique position to be able to be accurately advise claims adjusters or attorneys regarding their case management and vocational rehabilitation needs on the claims that they are handling. Her main responsibilities are to develop and maintain our accounts and to consult with claim adjusters and attorneys with regard to case for assignments.  She does her marketing work both locally and also travels to other cities from time to time to visit with our accounts.  Additionally, she attends all major conferences that pertain to claims. Additionally, she handles all accounts receivable and accounts payable.  Furthermore, she maintains case count of active caseloads of our counselors and assigns new files according to active case loads.
   
  Kevin Hurstell was hired within the last two years and works in our job development department.  His main function is to research suitably appropriate job leads for the various injured workers that we are handling for job placement.  He is highly skilled in use of the personal computer and conducting effective Internet research.  In addition, Kevin sometimes assists counselors in other functions such as on site job analysis. As well, he schedules the monthly job development research activities for the department. Kevin holds a bachelor's degree in psychology.
   
     
 
Mary Jane Soprano, MHS-RC, CRC, LRC-S  email
Mary Jane Soprano entered the field rehabilitation counseling in 2006.  She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University, as well as a Masters of Health Sciences degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from a Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
 
Since then, Mary Jane has been dedicated to assisting people with disabilities through assessment and coordination of individual rehabilitation needs.  She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and is currently working on becoming a fully licensed Rehabilitation Counselor.  Mary Jane is the newest member of Thomas E. Bott and Associates Inc. and provides medical case management and rehabilitation services to people with disabilities throughout the state of Louisiana.
